What is your role as a yacht charter broker?
"As a yacht charter broker, I find and arrange a nice yachting holiday for a family or group of friends or a bigger group. I help the clients find the perfect yacht, crew, destination, and also a nice itinerary for them so that everybody is happy at the end."
What sets you apart from other yacht charter brokers at Goolets?
"I've inspected countless yachts and also gulets. I know the owners personally and also the crew members, so I can help the clients find the perfect fit for them. I made some great friendships also with the owners so I can usually negotiate a good deal, use or find some special equipment or something."...

"We have an extensive knowledge of destinations, especially Croatia, and all the Eastern Mediterranean countries such as Greece and Turkey. In your opinion, what are the key factors clients should consider when selecting a yacht for their charter vacation?
"The size of the yacht, the price range, the number of cabins, the condition of the yacht which we inspect so we can help you with that, the crew and their services, and also the amenities on board and different water toys for example."
Can you highlight any special or unique amenities that some yachts offer, that clients may find surprising or particularly appealing?
»We have two yachts that feature playrooms for small children, which is unique. I never saw any other yachts and the children love it. One yacht has a hammam - a Turkish spa that the guests can enjoy. Of course, there are jacuzzis, an outdoor pool area, and outdoor and/or indoor gyms, so those are quite fascinating. Some clients are really surprised that they have an indoor cinema on some of the yachts, where you can sit and enjoy nice evenings.«

What are the ideal destinations for this (yacht charter) type holiday and why?
"My favorite yachting destination would be the Mediterranean, especially in the summertime in the northern hemisphere, that is between May and October. Also, The Caribbean has seasons all year round. I love The Maldives and Indonesia as well. Amazing yachts there and they are nice tropical destinations. But I would consider the Mediterranean offering the best overall."
From your perspective, what are the benefits of choosing a DS Yacht to charter over other types of yachts in Croatia?
»DS Yachts are a unique product on the market. They are »smart yachts« that offer amazing value for money, most of them are newly refitted or newly built. They have low fuel consumption, so that's why we include fuel in the charter fee, which is very unique in the yacht business. Similar yachts in Greece, Italy, or Turkey cost five times more per person.«...
Which yachts do you consider the best based on your personal experiences?
»For me, for example in Croatia would be the yacht Freedom, which is an amazing yacht. She can accommodate up to 22 plus two people, has received an award as the best superyacht in the Mediterranean, she offers the best value for money, was featured on CNN....so that's the one. If you have a smaller group like up to 12 people we have a brand new yacht which is going to be on the market in Croatia. She has great value, it's called Maxita, so that's the other one I would recommend.«
What aspect of your job do you enjoy the most?
"Communicating with clients, picturing their dream holiday, and then actually trying to realize that dream, to solve all their problems. I'm really satisfied when everything goes smoothly at the end and when they're happy, that's what fulfills me."
